How did you get your start?

Our company first originated in Tampa where Rachael planned a stunning backyard wedding on the bay. The couple wanted to incorporate classic British traditions along with some of their favorite local elements such as, their favorite downtown food truck! The backyard was decked out with market lighting, a dance floor, lounge areas, and a super cool antique bar! Rachael immediately knew she wanted to plan weddings for her career, and that she loved working with couples who have a unique vision for their wedding day.

Rachael continued to grow the company in the Orlando area and Taylor joined her in 2016! Together, they help couples tell their story by designing and planning unique and memorable weddings filled with personal details that truly represent them as a couple.

 

 

What services do you offer?

Everything from day-of/month-of coordination to full planning and design.

 

 

How would you describe your décor/ design style?

Trendy and unique, but always with a touch of class! We love helping our clients take their vision to the next level, and coming up with creative concepts that incorporate their personal details into the wedding.

 

 

How do you keep up with the latest wedding trends?

Wedding publications, social media, and (surprisingly) interior design magazines! So many trends stem from home décor elements, and we love it.

 

 

What sets you apart from others?

The friendships we develop with our clients and their families throughout the planning process, and the desire to create a fun and memorable wedding planning experience for all of our couples. We love helping couples tell their story, and it’s wonderful to see all of their guests enjoying those special moments with them!

 

 

What advice would you give Brides during the design/planning process?

Don’t be afraid to incorporate your personal style into your wedding. After all, the day is about you and your fiancé- you should make it yours! A professional planner and designer can help you bring all of your ideas together and incorporate them into the wedding in a beautiful and tasteful way.

 

 

Who is your style icon?

Jackie Kennedy. She was sophisticated, stylish, and always hosting parties at the White House!

 

 

 

When you’re not helping clients, what can we find you doing?

Rachael is usually enjoying a good cup of coffee, working out, or spending time with family and friends. Taylor can often be found working on new home project or relaxing by the pool!

 

 

Fun Facts about you:

  1. Rachael has a background in theater and stage management, and it really shines through on wedding days when things need to be kept on track!
  2. Taylor used to teach preschool before she found her calling in events. The kids were so cute and you never knew what they were going to say or do next!
  3. We get REALLY excited about wedding details. We spend way too much time texting each other photos of different table designs and dreaming up new concepts ????

Lakehouse Open House!

A lakeside venue full of cool vibes!

 

February has definitely been a busy month for us and we started it off right with the Lakehouse Open House! We got to chat with fellow vendors and provide rentals for not only a styled-shoot, but for a ceremony & reception set-up as well. Guests got to see the many possibilities of this venue’s space and the view didn’t hurt either! We’ve had the pleasure of visiting this venue in the past for Frankie’s Dirty Thirty so we were excited to come back for this special event. An outdoor celebration of Winter romance!

 

Stephanie & Andrew’s wedding left us stunned, amazed, and teary-eyed! It was everything a winter wedding should be- warm, cozy, and full of love. They chose hues of red, & green to create their dream wedding at the gorgeous Bramble Tree Estate in Sorrento, FL. This venue comes proudly equipped with a wide-open outdoor space, perfect for a tent! Stephanie & Andrew were drawn to our Sailcloth tent to host their reception, and equipped it with our market lighting while Florida served up a beautiful sunset! The photos from their wedding speak for themselves as they’re the work of Rudy & Marta Photography! They perfectly captured everything, down to the smallest detail. The mastermind behind the beautiful styling & event design was our good friend, Blue Ribbon Wedding & Event Design

How did you get your start?

“Dave’s father started the business in 1982- naming the shop for his daughter, Carly Ane. Helping at the studio ever since he was in high school was only natural for Dave to learn and grow with the company. This year he’s taken on Weddings by Carly Ane’s as his own adding Jaimz as Design Consultant and Marketing.

She started in the event industry planning and organizing cast parties and celebrations while working in the area’s theme parks. After some time working in the coordinating and cakes part of weddings she landed in floral and design- and loves every minute of it!”

 

 

What services do you offer?

“We offer full wedding floral design and some décor rental such as arches, shepherd hooks, vases, candles. Etc. Within out 5,000 sq.. ft warehouse our clients are sure to find what will best meet their design needs.”

 

 

What inspires your floral designs?

“The clients! A couple’s personality and sense of style should come through in their floral and décor. We want them to express themselves the best way possible for their big day. We like to listen to what our brides and grooms want the overall look and feel of their wedding day to be, not what someone tells them they must have.”

 

 

How do you keep up with the latest wedding trends?

“Keep an eye on the internet! Fashion and seasonal colors play a lot into floral palettes. Also, pay attention to the past- popular trends have a way of coming back around full circle.”

 

 

What sets you apart from others?

“We care- a lot- about our clients and the success of their events. Anyone can sell you flowers and make arrangements but it’s the connection and interaction with a vendor who has your best interest at heart that makes the difference. We don’t have one-time customers. We have families who planned their weddings with us in the 80’s and now the children of those couples are coming in to plan their own celebrations. Birthdays, new babies, anniversaries, weddings- they stay with us through all of life’s occasions… and we’re here for their calls!”

 

 

What advice would you give Brides during the design/planning process?

“Take your time and get a full vision together of what you want. Do you research and don’t fall in love with something if it’s not realistic within your budget. Trust your professionals and ask their advice on what options you have to make the most out of your day. And when it comes down to it- have fun!! Stressing about every little detail is the surest way for you to look back and wish you had just let go.”

 

 

Fun Facts about you:

  1. Both Dave and Jaimz are big fans of the Dallas Cowboys!
  1. Dave enjoys Formula One racing, golf, and Jelly Bellys.
  1. Jaimz has blue hair (currently), loads of tattoos, performs improv and burlesque in the area, and- yes- is a girl!
  1. Our warehouse space is large enough to hold parties and events- and we did just that recently with our first open house!

OWPR Open House!

A preview event to the Winter Park Wedding Stroll!

 

Our warehouse got a special makeover for the Winter Park Wedding Stroll- Preview Event! Styled by Michele Butler Events, our warehouse transformed into a cool hang-out spot, perfect for showcasing our buzz-worthy products. With help from some of our friendors we boogied & ate some delicious food. We certainly know how to throw a party, it was a blast! Jewel tones, Vintage touches, & Beautiful scenery- Oh my!

 

 

Let’s hear it for the happy couple! Krystina and Joseph tied the knot at Bella Collina on a perfect December day with a wedding fit to match. Runway Events & Flowers by Lesley styled Bella Collina with jewel-toned décor and vintage pieces from the Runway Collection. Concept Photography hit it out of the park with the STUNNING photos from the big day. We had the honor of providing the rentals for not only their ceremony, but their reception as well! As the sun went down, things heated up as our market lighting shed light on everyone’s silly, but awesome, dance moves. The couple managed to steal some time for themselves to share a private dance. The couple’s send-off was magical as every guest lit a sparkler in cheer. We are so grateful to have been a part of Krystina and Joseph’s happily ever after!

A Glam Wedding for Stephanie & Ben!

We had the pleasure of providing the rentals for Stephanie and Ben’s wedding at the Lake Mary Events Center! Stephanie is an industry favorite of ours and is the owner/ co-founder of the planning company Saving the Day Events. Her wedding not only incorporated her love of glam, but also some of her friendors in the wedding industry. Together, the vendor line-up hit it out of park and created the wedding of Stephanie + Ben’s dreams!

From mugs of hot chocolate to chestnuts roasting on an open fire, there are so many things that we love about winter! But rich, romantic color palettes make our hearts beat the fastest! Our friends at Dandy Details Events styled this shoot with hues of burgundy and green putting a new spin on traditional winter themes & the Quantum Leap Winery served as the perfect backdrop for this romantic vignette. What a vision! Our silver industrial chairs and our mahogany chiavari chairs were a beautiful complement and this photoshoot left us feeling inspired and excited for the winter season ahead!

Frankie’s 30th Birthday Party!

With a little help from his friends, Frankie turned 30!

Frankie’s birthday at LakeHouse was the perfect celebration! Surrounded by friends and family, Frankie turned 30 and hosted a party that was the talk of the town. Rebekkah from Runway Events who is also Frankie’s lovely wife, provided the eclectic rentals + bar, which we paired with our more modern pieces! This combination was simply sensational and was a huge hit with the party guests! Everyone celebrated Frankie’s milestone into the early morning with no signs of stopping.
