Fall 2017 Color Inspiration!

We see your true colors…

It’s wedding season! But first, coffee.

We are so excited for the upcoming Fall season, and to kick things off we’re serving up some color inspiration as Pantone just released their Fall 2017 trending tones. To say we’re inspired is an understatement! In Florida, we have one season/ one temperature {HOT} so we have to give some *snaps* to Pantone for getting us in the Autumn spirit. So, does this mean we can start decorating for Halloween now? (Asking for a friend).

Pantone’s top colors of Fall 2017!

A Tale As Old As Time

Be Our Guest!

Okay be honest with us, how many photos is too many photos? We were so inspired by this “Tale As Old As Time” styled-shoot we couldn’t help but share a ton of images. We have a feeling though, that you won’t mind! “There’s no wonder that her name means beauty” with photos like these. We can’t get over how the rich colors play well with the industrial background. Our hearts are all a flutter. Major kudos go out to the entire vendor team for making this happen. It’s true what they say- it takes a village {in a poor, provincial town} 😉

Essentials for a Rustic Wedding!

Photo: Rudy and Marta | Featured products: gold flatware, gold-rimmed glass charger plates, farm table, french country chairs

Who doesn’t love a rustic wedding? Although they’re a dime a dozen these days, we love that they embody romance and coziness- therefore, we can’t get enough! But, what elements help to create the rustic goodness we all know and love? We’ve compiled a list of essentials, as well as, some “pin-teresting” finds that you could incorporate. But first, coffee…..Just kidding! First, let’s begin with what’s #trending!

2017 Rustic Wedding Trends

  • Greenery (lots of it!)
  • Lace
  • Interactive food stations (i.e Doughnut Walls- yum!)
  • Warm metallics and Blush accents
  • Natural textures
  • Cozy setting
  • Vintage furniture (Runway Collection!)

Rustic Essentials

Vineyard Mismatched Chairs

Mismatched chairs are HUGE right now, as they make things a bit more informal while adding some charm!

Mahogany Charger Plates

As we said above, wood elements are on trend for 2017. Mahogany is rich and color, and the details of our mahogany charger plates will give your tablescape an added touch of character!

Farm Tables

Add a unique twist to your rustic wedding, with our farm tables! Just kidding 😉
Let’s face they’re essential! Consider incorporating various sized farm tables.

French Country Chairs & Farm Benches

Rustic charm doesn’t stop with the farm table. Our french country chairs and farm benches complement any rustic design!

Faux Wood Charger Plates

A lighter wood element could be just the ticket for your event!

Whiskey Barrels

Our whiskey barrels are more than a garnish for your rustic decor. They are pretty and fuctional! Consider using them as a cake table, bar, guest book table- you name it.

Market Lighting

Ah market lighting….We love the ambiance it creates! Since rustic weddings are all about coziness, we can’t help but put coziness and market lighting hand-in-hand!

Attire

For the Bride:
The trend for rustic attire is more of a casual fit or something with lace detailing. Accessories can dress it up or down to go along with the theme. Speaking of accessories, a rustic themed wedding wouldn’t be rustic without the bride wearing a pair of stylish cowgirl boots!

For the Groom:
Go for a nice fitted suit and dress shirt. To add to the look making it fun and unique try suspenders and cowboy boots! Just like the bride a nice pair of cowboy boots can really complete the look!

Reasons Why You Need A Professional Photographer at Your Next Corporate Event!

All Collage Photos: In Style Imagery

These days- Corporate events are testing boundaries, breaking the mold, and are becoming more than just your average “employee Christmas party.” Companies host Corporate bashes to show appreciation to their employees, to showcase new products, and to launch their brand on to the interwebs. So here’s the sitch; we’ve seen companies hire vendors to plan & create a magical event, but they didn’t hire a professional photographer… Say what?! Don’t let your hard work go un-photographed. We spoke to In Style Imagery and Steven Miller Photography about why you should have your next corporate event professionally photographed!

In Style Imagery

You worked hard, capture it all!

From the carefully chosen venue and decor to the entertainment and staging, professional photos will showcase all of the planning and feel of your event. We know you have spent time and a balanced budget planning to perfection; professional images will show it all off!

Your special guests and attendees are important!

You will want images of the CEO, President, VIP’s, and guest speakers interacting and engaged with your attendees. Is there a special guest or key notes peaker? A professional photographer who specializes in events will be aware of the key guests. Your photographers will be sure to capture all the moments exchanged, speeches, or awards given.

Boost company culture through images!

Your attendees will be excited to see the images captured featuring them while they mingle with colleagues, receive an award, or get special one to one time with your company executives and VIP’s. They will feel the importance of their
contributions and know they are valued members of the group.

Foster vendor relationships!

If your event has a strong vendor presence, images of the participants will be highly appreciated. The vendors who are contributing as sponsors will love getting professional images of their displays and company representatives interacting with the guests.

Create excitement after the event and create marketing for next year!

After your event the lasting memories are in your photographs. Sharing the photos are a great time for everyone who was there to relive the event. Next year, pull those professional photos back out to remind everyone of the experience and get them excited to attend again!

Extra mile:

One of our annual clients orders a surprise for their award winners. A professional image printed and matted arrives after the event as an extra thank you. Their staff loves the photograph, and they have something tangible to proudly display at their desk.

Steven Miller Photography

The right photographer will present your company in the best light…pun intended!

When capturing the event, it is important to not only document the event, but also be able to have a solid set of pictures to promote next years event! Conference attendees are often visual learners and they rely on the pictures from your event to make their final decision!

Hiring a professional photographer also allows the event organizers to be at ease and focus on their task at hand!

A professional event photographer will likely have photographed plenty of events before and know what settings to use, how to stay unobtrusive, and capture flattering pictures of people in a wide variety of lighting conditions that events have!

A professional photographer is able to provide a set of images that the attendees can look back at and enjoy!

Professional photographers are able to put their subjects at ease during corporate events! Many times we have had to capture CEOs, celebrities, and attendees who are shy and we had a split second to make sure they are conformable in front of the camera! This in turn captures a better picture and a more enjoyable experience at your event!

Saying yes to the trend!

Because the dress isn’t the only thing you say yes to!

Photo cred: Concept Photography, Solutions Bridal, Bella Collina

Each time a new season rolls around, fifty new trends follow close behind it. You know how it is- everyone is wearing this, everyone is doing that (etc.) and with Pinterest & other social platforms flooding our heads with inspiration, it’s hard to determine whether to follow the status-quo or break the mold!

Before you get overwhelmed trying to decide, we wanted to talk a little bit about how to know if a trend is right for you! Yes, not following a trend is an option. Gasp! We want to give you a few things to consider before hopping on a certain trend’s train. But first, what are the top summer trends?

According to The Knot, the top trends range from bolder color choices, mismatched bridesmaid’s dresses, and statement jewelry to opting for bundt cakes & ditching the traditional wedding cake- and these are but a few of the trends out there! Don’t get us wrong, we love trends; it’s exciting to see how the event industry changes! However, while trends are new and exciting and may fit your style now, think fifty years down the road at what your wedding album/ event photos will showcase. For example, puffy sleeves and teased hair seemed like a good idea at one point. Trends are great but are not a necessity to create an unforgettable event! You do you, and the results will speak for themselves.

Here are three questions we feel anyone planning an event should ask themselves, when it comes to trends.

Does this trend fit your style?

What drew you to it?
Why do YOU like it?
Does it fit the vision you have of your event?

Does this trend fit within your budget?

It’s easily forgotten in all of the hype!

Does this trend fit with the rest of your event?

If you’re having a corporate event, would it be appropriate?
Will it be an enjoyable experience for me and my guests? I.e. Live streaming.

Amelia & Hunter began their Happily Ever After on a Spring day at the Peachtree House. We’ve enjoyed the many events we’ve been a part of at this beautiful venue and are excited for what the future holds for the gorgeous home as it closes it’s doors as a special event venue. Not only do they give you peace of mind, they’re visually stunning. All of our tents, with the exception of our gorgeous Sailcloth tent, are frame tents.
