is winding down and 2016 is in our rear-view mirror. As we say hello to 2017, we wanted to take the time
to reminisce on some of the amazing events that we had the honor of being apart of this past year! We are so appreciative of all the clients we’ve had the opportunity to work with and get to know throughout the year and we are so thrilled to have been a part of their special days, birthdays, & everything in between.

Time flies when you’re in love! We started 2016 off on the right foot with this sweet couple. It’s hard to believe that the Coleman’s tied the knot a year ago at Bella Collina! Their wedding incorporated their personal traditions, and transformed the outdoor space with hues of green and burgundy, accented with wood décor. Our dear friend, Katie Scully from Blue Ribbon Wedding & Event Design
, designed this stunning wedding and brought Casey and Phil’s vision to life! Jordan Weiland Photography

Greg and Philip’s wedding was truly the best day ever!
Hosted at The Alfond Inn, Greg and Philip’s ceremony and reception were filled with love and laughter. This couple had dreams of dark, masculine colors for there décor and Michele Butler Events
gave them just that! The love between these two is awe-inspiring and was reflected in even the smallest of details.

We had the pleasure of working on a “Captured & Engaged” photo shoot with Busy Bee Events & Design
and LH Photography
! Photo shoots are a great way to break outside the box and try new things, which is exactly what Busy Bee Events did at The Acre
. By combining our farm table with our industrial chairs, this cozy spot transformed into a rustic-industrial paradise! This shoot serves as an example that the best of both worlds
can be found among any two styles and incorporated into any design.

This beautiful spring wedding still has us feeling all the feels! Ferrell and Allen were so sweet and genuine. They chose vibrant florals for their color scheme at their reception which was a unique choice that certainly paid off! Vows were exchanged at Methodist of Orlando and the reception festivities were held at a private residence. In this case, spring did not bring April showers but Ferrell and Allen opted for a tent to house the reception. Underneath, guests sat in comfort on our gold chiavari chairs and boogied the night away on our white dance floor. At the end of the night, the couple said goodbye to their loved ones and drove away in wedded bliss!

There are not enough words to say how much we loved working with Amanda and Jacob! Amanda’s smile is contagious and Jacob’s love for her could be seen from miles away. They became the O’Brien’s on the 7th at the Ballroom at Church Street
and with the help of Blue Ribbon Wedding and Event Design
created a swoon-worthy event. The couple brought a bit of Italy to Orlando with their florals, food, and their place cards which said “grazie.” This venue has a lot of charm and our french country chairs & gold-rimmed chargers were a perfect match to tie in the ballroom space with the couple’s style. Molto Bello!

Things heated up in June, and it was more than just the weather! Amalie Orrange Photography
hosted a get-together for entrepreneurs and creatives alike. It all went down at the Luxmore Grand Estate
, a gorgeous property in Winter Park, FL. All who attended discussed their ideas and got hear Amalie’s keys to success. The décor was kept simple yet stunning with two of our ivy hedge walls as a back-drop and plenty of our silver industrial chairs for seating. We love how the big windows at the Luxmore cast lots of natural light into the room, showcasing the beautiful wood floors that pair nicely with bringing a bit of the outdoors and industrial style inside. We ended the month of June by working with a couple who had a unique vision for their reception set-up. Elissa and Lucas wanted their reception at home, enjoying the summer weather. Our clear tent gave them the best of both worlds. Guests were protected from the elements and everyone could still enjoy the sunset. Seating was family style and guests could “cut a rug” on the dance floor atop the pool! How cool is that?!

We took advantage of the beautiful weather and collaborated on some photo shoots in July! We visited The Acre
and the Garden Club of FL
for these designs. The Golden Pineapple Event Company
was the mastermind behind the shoot at the Garden Club and Runway Events
was the mastermind behind the darling shoot at the Acre. Photo shoots have a special place in our hearts because they allow creativity to flourish and the end result is always exciting!

August was such an exciting month because we turned 8! Our doors have been open since 2008 and we celebrated with some yummy cake and champagne, woo! In the same month we attended the Summer Soireé Bridal Show at the Citrus Club
, and boy was that a fun day. We got to speak with other local vendors, eat some yummy food (always a plus), and we had the privilege of showcasing some of our rentals at the soireé!

Cecil and Ijay had the most spectacular September wedding! It was glam, romantic, and everything the couple had hoped for. They tied the knot at the Omni Orlando Resort
with the help of the team at Blush by Brandee Gaar
. Brandee had this to say about their event: “Ijay and Cecil’s wedding was one of sophistication meets culture. They were a beautiful couple with a flair for style. The reception was rich in tradition, family, and fun.”

October was a busy month for us as we had the pleasure of providing rentals for birthday shindigs, weddings, and everything in between! We saw our dear friend Frankie turn 30, and the launch of a new venue: The Balcony. The same month we saw sweet couples like Laura + Rory, as well as, Kali + Marcus tie the knot! The highlight of our month was the Fire & Ice gala which gives its proceeds to mental health organizations. It’s an amazing cause and the Parrish Medical Foundation was behind the wheel of this hugely successful gala!

There’s a reason why those in the event biz’ nickname fall time, “wedding season.” We saw many cute couples get hitched all across central Florida! First up was Autumn + Chris at the Lake Mary Events Center
. They decided to base their wedding around a Charlie Chaplin theme! They were such a cool duo and their wedding reflected their unique sense of style. Stephanie + Ben tied the knot it mid-November and their wedding was nothing short of amazing, we even wrote a blog post about them! Their ceremony and reception were also hosted at the Lake Mary Events Center in which both incorporated Stephanie’s love of all things glam! Erin + Tim said “I do” at the Peachtree House
and brought the wow-factor with our show-stopping Sailcloth tent! Guests celebrated with the happy couple by dancing the night away and sampling good eats via local food trucks, yum!

The last month of 2016 was so much fun as we had the privilege of attending and providing the rentals for the Calvet Couture Bridal Show! Practically all of central Florida was there to witness the amazing dresses and all of the hard work that went in to the show. The team at Calvet and the team at Runway Events put on a spectacular event and we are so grateful to have been a part of it. The rest of December was filled with holiday cheer and wedded bliss as we decorated the office, had a secret Santa exchange, and worked with great couples to achieve their dream events. We pretended calories didn’t count as our friend-ors brought by sweet treats (THANK YOU). The time flew by because we were having so much fun! Before we knew it the holidays had come & gone and a new year was on its way. 2016 brought us many great friends and opportunities so we’re looking forward to what 2017 has to offer!
